A lot depends on how much salary you're looking to add.

If I were you, I would not promote yet. If you did, You would have to buy At least a whole new starting lineup, and reserves with 5-6 K salarie. which would cost more than 1 mil. In division IV, you want to have at least 2 people with at least 15k salarie, and the rest of your starting lineup to have at least 9-10k. Also, looking at your arena, It should be greatly expanded before you promote. I have spent at least 1 mil on my arena,(in 3 years of playing) and It is very small compared to many of my division rivals.

If I were you, I would buy 2 good 18 YO trainees(if you don't have any allready.) If you train them right, they could both be starters in Division IV starters by next season. I would spend all of your current 1 mil on the arena. This is because You will most likely get close to trice the amount of income doing this. Then save up a mill again in season 15, in div V., and promote in 16.

This way you are garaunteed that you will not regelate back to division IV afte 1 season. (and given your roster, and arena/finances, I think that you would.)

ive stopped reading after this. to get income you can get or purpossedly not to get is like the most easiest decision to make.

There is nothing wrong with promoting and then being relegated back down. At least you get a whole season of higher income which would put you in a better position.

FYI: last place in the division above is still better than first place in the division below

Also if you promote you never know what might happen. Teams may go bot or inactive or there might be other weak teams you can beat. You only have to beat 2 teams to stay up and a lot can happen.

Agreed with everyone above me. Promote. You can always add players next season to prevent relegation with the promotion money and increase in income.

To the original poster, if I were you I'd pick up 1-2 8k-10k salary players. That should only cost you around 100k-250k a piece. With a high enthusiasm, That roster should be enough to win the league you're in. Then save the rest of your money and spend it next season so you can tailor your roster to fit the league you're in.

put half the money into your arena, and half into a better bigman. proficient IS/ID/RB, average passing, maybe some OD and JS, and you should be good. Buy an older guy and you wont have to spend a ton.

I promoted with a 15 and a 10 guy, and was convinced I'd go down. But I'm now still in a playoff spot. The obvious reason why it's better to come last in a higher div. is you get to pick first!
