It is not always so easy to understand exactly how things works from text information.

Why not add pictures which shows every possible step in the new draft. What happens if I press "scout combine"? What happens if I press button "Group demonstration".

I am still puzzled at what happens if I chose "Scout combine" and I won't use it in this draft. But I would be very interested in being able to actually see what would happen if I chose it as I don't understand it right now. Am I getting the star rating for those with 1-2 in star rating or am I also getting star rating for those with 3-5? From text I clearly interpret it as I would have no information for all players with 3-5 in star rating but with a "demonstration video" all mine and others questions should be possible to answer. BB can add this? I think that it would be especially useful for new managers and would perhaps make them more interested in continuing with BB.

The scouting combine will give you the age and height over EVERY player in the draft. It will not give you any star ratings for skill or potential.


The group demonstration will reveal the skill ball rating and position for every player that has 1 or 2 stars as their baseline rankings. Basically, all the players with 1 white star or 2 white stars will be scouted once which will provide a more accurate skill rating and the position of the player.

Don't you think that a demonstration video showing this could be fine?

I thought that Group demonstration would show you all the crap players but now I understand that it shows the bottom half of the "preliminary" rating.

I at least thinks that it would be nice to have this shown in pictures so that it is easy for new players to understand. Texts are not always very easy to understand.

The explanation was good. Thank you for that and good that you agree with my suggestion. Let's hope that BB creates this to simplify for future users. I myself know understand and I do not think I will forget this to next draft. I will for sure skip "Group demonstration" this draft. I doubt that doing both "Scout combine" and "Group Demonstration" will be clever thing to do. Exactly one of them is probably the optimal strategy.

I think it depends. If you have 10 18 year olds that have 1 or 2 stars as their baseline rankings, then it may be worth doing the group demo to see all of their skills. Easier than scouting them all individually and you will get to see some 19 year olds skills as well.
