Hello! I have a "problem" - my trainee is getting better and better every week and the salary remains the same! Not that I'm complaining, but...hm?
At beginning of the season, right after draft, he was:
Jump Shot: mediocre Jump Range: pitiful
Outside Def.: respectable Handling: respectable
Driving: respectable Passing: respectable
Inside Shot: pitiful Inside Def.: average
Rebounding: pitiful Shot Blocking: atrocious
Now, he is:
Jump Shot: average Jump Range: awful
Outside Def.: proficient ↑ Handling: respectable
Driving: strong Passing: strong
Inside Shot: pitiful Inside Def.: average
Rebounding: pitiful Shot Blocking: atrocious
And the salary is still the same. How can that be?

Salary only changes once a season. It happens as part of the end of season update.

Damn, I thought it happens more often...
So basically if I want, I can train him on one position training, make him very good and sell before playoffs for good money and for $4.400 salary, which is at now. Then next season, BOOM, $8000 salary. Probably that's why salary calculator is for?
Of course I won't sell him because I need him in League III. (where I hope I will be in next season), but anyway...I'm a bit scared, because he is only one of three new trainees that get better every week ;)

8k salary is indeed normal- and as a tip, the higher the skill goes, the greater the increase next season- going from 12 to 13 in a skill will raise the salary more than going 7 to 8.
Also, each type of training will affect the player's salary differently at the salary update; if a point guard gets 2 pops in shot-blocking, it will be likely less of a salary increase than if he were to receive 2 pops in Passing or Outside Defense.
