We still play 2 games during all star break, so we can squeeze in couple of 48+ mins trainees, right?
Then why do people suggest training areas such as FT/stamina etc during all star breaks?

a lot of people try to train 5 or 6 players from 2 pos training, but it is difficult, maybe impossible for anything to be productive. so they train ft/stamina because about half of your team should pop.

you also wont have to risk playing any players 48 minutes straight to get them to train in something, risking injury/stamina which could lead to losing a game

Simply because you do need stamina and free throw shooting from your players. In fact players' ability to perform at their best well into the 4th quarter and make clutch free throws can be decisive in close games. So, why not train those aspects when you can't even maximize training for any other attribute?

Stamina also goes down gradually in the course of a season. Having a trainer with fitness specialty will slow down this decline (regardless of trainer level).

To maintain your players stamina or improve it, its generally advisable to train stamina at least once in a season.

Like someone stated above, you still can give your trainees 48 minutes in weeks with just 2 games but it's harder to do it when you have just those 2 games instead of the usual 3...Personally, i train stamina in this week because of that...And 'cause it is important as well, of course:)!

If you want to win games, your players have to have good stamina and be able to make free throws. Also, if you have an important league game or cup game (or both) during all-star week, team training allows you to play your best lineups without worrying as much about who gets how many minutes (although minutes still affect game shape).
