What's the best offense to run again man to man? Usually I'll play push the ball and my inside scoring and outside are pretty much the same.

Depends on your opponent's defence ratings. If he is playing man to man and has proficient (low) inside defence and awful (high) outside defence then you should probably play an outside based tactic. If he is playing man to man and has respectable (medium) outside defence and inept (medium) inside defence then it might be better to play an inside based tactic.

Thanks, and yea I checked out his ratings and he's a tad better in inside defense. What I really want to know is should my offense be at a fast or slow pace?

I would go with a fast pace if you think you are better than your opponent. Actually, I personally would go with a fast pace regardless, but some people like to go with a slow pace if their opponent is better because the game will be less scoring and so you will lose by less.

i personally like some slow paced tactics too, but normally not when the opponent is superior.

I can understand the logic behind that strategy, because if you have a smaller sample(possesions) surprises get more likely but they also forgot offensiv execution. Especially against superior opponents it is hard to get a solid shot, so you would get struggle with the shot clock anyway, and with slow paced tactics this problem gets bigger because you look for easier shot oppurtunitys.
Also the sample don't get that much smaller because fast tactics, especially in the first quarters take also a lot of time before they take the shot.

If you are playing against opponents of the same strength i would test, what outside/inside or neutral tactic works best because this depends on your team.
