I just played the first game of the season, as did many others :D

It was at home for me, and a whopping 700 people turned out to watch it.

Erm, will this go up significantly? (IF I keep winning)

And, how influential is the ticket pricing on the attendance?

My wages seem quite large (very) compared with the money generated from my arena.

I'm worried I will not be able to afford my weekly expenses, yet I only have 13 players on my roster, and the cheapest coaches one can get!

Could somebody let me know if there is other regular weekly sorces of income I should be expecting to help me out with my expenses?

cheers

:)

I think that the initial attitude of the fans is based on the previous season. I wouldn't be surprised that they were still upset over last season's performance under the old management.

Attendance is very price sensitive. You should also notice that the percentage of seats filled depends quite a lot on the type of seats. The bleachers are very sensitive to performance, while the top seats may fill as long as don't go too high on the tickets.

I think my courtside seats were full the entire season, while the bleachers were only full for a couple of regular season games. I might think about dropping the price of the bleachers and maybe the lower tier for March, and perhaps increasing the courtside. I think you will start filling them pretty soon.

Your attendance was real low for a D.II team, so I think the relegation must be a very large factor.

You will get a very large payment for your TV game next week (I think it might be $250,000 for D.II). I usually lost money each week last season, and then recovered with the TV games. You probably shouldn't spend the TV money right away. If you do well in the TV game, the fans will also turn out in following games. As long as you remain in the cup, you will also get money from that even when playing away. Just because you cup opponent is a bot, don't assume that you will win.

indeed.

my first game I had very low amount of spectators too, but I won, and next time my arena was almost sold out. So don't be afraid it will take a long time to fill up, it will happen soon enough...

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.
