Hey

So I figured maybe we could liven things up around here a little and discuss the upcoming season and maybe carry it on through out the season.

Once again, it looks to be a stacked conference, easily better than the other division 2's in Canada. I was hoping for Aston Midhurst to come down, but instead we got the Flying Yorts. Other than that, things should be similar to last year. Hopefully some new teams develop and we can get a stronger conference from top to bottom.

Shinanigans, I'm calling you out. Might crunch you when we play.

Hahah, so modest. You're definitely gonna go at least 20-2. All the former Naismithians do.

I'm hoping for some more competition from the other side of the league, seeing as our side *usually* dominates.

Anyway, cheers to the new season, and yeah, let's see if we can actually keep discussions going through the season in this thread, instead of it dying out second week. :P

P.S. Good luck to the newbies. Our division looks scary, but don't get too intimidated. :P

Welcome yorty! I'm prepared to see your team name at the top of the standings, hehe.

As for my team (sprinklers), I am prepared to battle like there is no tomorrow for the 3rd consecutive season only to avoid relegation!

The draft here was awful this season... I got 2 "ok" players but not enough to keep them in the team.

well i'm off to a strong start anyways...not expecting it to last...

so i was hoping i could maybe get some training help here...if you all are nice enough to try and help an opponent better his team...

what skill ties into "offensive flow"?...i would think it's a point guard thing having to do with ball control and passing...considering they are usually the player that starts off a play and are the main distributor of the ball in the offensive zone...but offensive flow is my weakest area and yet my PG has good passing and ball control skills...

could anyone shed a light on what might help?

Likin' that idea, and unless you guys are from Sack Vegas, N.S., then no beers...oh, and I'm also only 17, so that hinders me a bit. :P

I'd say for the most part that the better handling and passing your PG has, the better your offensive flow will be. But the other positions will play a part, so the better your overall passing and handling are will help your flow.

Hey guys. I must admit, I haven't been too active in our division's forum lol. I'd like to change that too. Welcome yorty, I hope you have a good season. I myself am just hoping to stay in the division for this year as my trainees are all pretty young and my team just doesn't stack up to some of the top teams. I made the playoffs though last year, which I thought was a pretty big accomplishment. Looking forward to battling it out for 4th/5th/6th place this year and hopefully comfortably staying in div II. I would be extremely disappointed if I went down this year, because I think my team is plenty good enough to survive this year.
