Ok, there are a few threads floating about telling you which stats are needed for each position (Specifically in the help thread), and there is also the box score from each game. Are any other stats generated that help show which players are best in which positions. Do people find the box score helpful at all?

I also notice a stats link on the overview page but so far nothing has been generated. Is this used only for competitve games?

cheers.

I find the box score principally useful as a means of gathering data on opposition players, ie. which of their players are good defenders and scorers. As a guide to your own players there's the player rating stat, but this doesn't reflect how objectively good a player is but subjectively how well he played on the day.

eg. Muirhead, Jonathan 28 13 - 23 5 - 11 4 - 4 1 8 4 1 1 0 2 35 9.0
That's a good day at the office for one of my guards in a blow-out victory (off the bench to boot!)
Muirhead, Jonathan 21 5 - 9 2 - 3 2 - 3 1 1 0 0 0 0 6 14 7.0
Not such a good performance. Rating is lower because he fouled out and contributed nothing outside of his points. The two games were about 10 days apart.

Your Team Stats link is empty because you haven't played a compettive game yet.
