There is no "cap". However, considering there are only 3 games a week normally (if you are in the cup) and 2 games a week if you aren't in the cup, there is a limit on how high enthusiasm gets. With 3 games a week you can get up to 15 or 16 enthusiasm straight after a game. With 2 games a week you can get about 11 or 12 enthusiasm straight after a game.

However this enthusiasm drops down pretty quick before game time so don't expect it that high at the start of your game.

I suppose you could get to enthusiasm 20+ if you played TIE every game of the season, and played TIE every game of the cup and stayed in the cup every week, and made the playoffs and then made the finals and then played TIE in the tiebreaker game you might have 20 after the tie breaker game :P But that's irrelevant as it would get reset shortly after that game :P

Are you sure? Because I don't think that is true.

The level in which it drops day by day the further away you are from 5 means that even if after a game your enthusiasm was 15, by game day 2/3 days later, it would be back down to 11/12.

I realise that, but what I was asking was confirmation that there isn't an actual cap. And in my earlier post, I mentioned that if you played TIE in the playoffs and finals and then lost one of the finals games resulting in a tie breaker, then after playing TIE on saturday, seeing as the tie breaker game is on the sunday, the enthusiasm wouldn't have dropped much and so you could easily be over 12.

No cup games in playoffs, so with even playing all playoff-normal you will be at 12, perhaps 13 in tiebreaker. I have never tryed that myself, but I think my calculation is correct.

ah okay, all I was trying to point out was that there is not set cap, the only limit is the number of games you play, and during a tiebreaker that could easily be higher than 12.

Though there isn't a hard cap, you can't have an enthusiasm higher than 12 or maybe 13 on game day. It decreases exponentially the higher you go up, so if you have 15 or 16 one day it will be down to 12 two days later. If you TIEd your cup championship, and were somehow dominant enough to TIE every single game preceding it that season, you would have the highest enthusiasm you could possibly have in a season the following Saturday. I can't say how much that is, because I don't know of anyone that has or could now feasibly accomplish that, but I still don't think you'd be over 13.

As for the playoffs, you can’t have more than 10 outside of the cup, so you could play PON on the Tuesday of your first game, but you don’t have another game that can build enthusiasm until Saturday, so at best you’d have 10 on the second game of the playoffs, and playing PON in that one would give you an enthusiasm of 12 in the tiebreaker. 13 would be a stretch, though perhaps not impossible, but you’ll never come close to getting enthusiasm at 20+, even right after a game.

I've never had an enthusiasm of higher than 12 myself on a game day, and I TIE virtually every game. There technically isn’t a cap, but most teams won’t play a game with enthusiasm over 12.
