Will stamina ever improve on it's own? I have a very young team, but have some guys with some good potential. Most all of my guys have pretty bad stamina, but I find it hard to find time to train for stamina while I need to develop jump shots, ball handling, and defensive attributes.

Is there a good time to train for stamina? Or will they gradually gain some based on their playing time?

Stamina only improves when you train it. It will, however, decrease on its own - all players experience drops in stamina on a random basis throughout the season.

The best time to train stamina/free throws is during the all star break or between seasons, when you only have 2 games per week. It's easier to team train in those weeks because stamina/FT training is not dependent on minutes played.
