I'm looking for a player to help my team at the PG position. I'm having a problem with ball distribution and I don't have much money to spend on a legendary PG that can fill up the stats. I have seen a player within my spending range but he's 29 years old. How old is too old in this game?

The seller is requesting 300K to start, is he worth the money the seller is asking for? If he goes beyond this 300K, I won't be able to afford him anyway. I'm looking at selling my 2nd and 3rd round picks for pennies (because that's what I'll most likely get anyway for them) but it won't help my financial situation. But if I do score this guy, which will be highly unlikely, he can make up for what those draft picks haven't provided and at least 1-2 other PGs on my roster, pending a few games under his belt under my style of play. I can then sell my 1-2 PGs for a little more money, but it probably won't be much.

So how old is too old and what affect does age have on a player in the game? At what age does a player "decline" or call it quits?

Players never retire unless they're fired, but when they become 33 or older their skills start to slowly decline. So at 29 this guy has this season and the following 3 to play before his skills start decreasing.

As for the player itself, you're not doing yourself too many favours as you're practically advertising for him :P. I think he'll go for more than 300k, I would say he should end up in a 500-600k range. I would suggest that you edit your post and remove some of the info there, I'm not even sure what you're doing is allowed
