you'll see in roughly 7 or 8 hours from now. off season processing should start then.

however, to answer your question, i'd suggest you read the manual http://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/rules.aspx?nav=Draf...

to make things more easy for you, i've copied the part you need to read for you here:

The way the draft works is as follows: Right after the season ends 48 new players are generated for the draft. Each of the 16 teams in a league then get three picks in the draft, going in reverse order of season standings before the playoffs and before relegation. That is, a team who finished last in a league gets the first pick before being demoted. In the event teams have identical records, ties are broken by point differential (Points For minus Points Against) and then by Points For. After the order has been decided teams then pick their highest ranked remaining player as determined by their draft order when their turn to pick arises during the draft. The draft occurs during the offseason, two days after the league championship tiebreaker game.

ps: this question has already been asked in another thread. might want to read the other threads threw before you open an new one next time ;)

its primarily based on your win loss ratio, but if you and and another player (or players) have the same win loss ratio, who picks close to number 1 will be the person who had the worse points diff.

in your case you will pick 9th over all.

Is it fair to have the top picks go to teams that are no longer being managed by humans or being managed by a computer?

For example, in my league, at least 4-5 teams out of 16 are managed on a regular basis by someone with a heartbeat, the rest are teams that were abandoned back in late January/early February; and these are the teams with the worst records in the league and are in position to take the top picks, even one of the last playoff teams were abandoned because a day or two after being eliminated from the playoffs, he became a different team. Is this fair to the players that maintain their teams, to see potentially good players gets drafted to an abandoned ship that has sunk? Is there a way to monitor and stop this from happening before the draft?

id rather the picks go to computer managed teams! :)

Bot teams draft randomly, and so there is more chance that they will pick a random player than any player of real value. Although the chances are higher it is not necessarily always the case.

If a human player got to pick last and scouted 40K a week, there is a chance that they could get the best player in the draft and also a chance they get their second preference too, the second best player in the draft.

you see?

Yeah i agree managers in leagues with a lot of bots already get an advantage because they have less people ranking players so have a higher chance of getting the players they want.
