Okay my Weekly Merchandise profit has dropped about 9k in the last 10 weeks...

What are the factors that affect merchandising?

And what can I do to increase it back to respectable levels again?

There are several factors that affect merchandising revenue. Some of them include but are not limited to:

-Number of local born players on your team (a quick glance at your squad shows that you only have 3 Aussies in your squad which would lead to relatively lower revenue)

- Amount of stars on your team

- Whether your winning or losing games

- Fans perception on your team

In general, to rectify you need to have more local players on your squad, win more games (not sure if this applies to you), bring more stars into your team.

Also I am not 100% sure on this but I was told that having players in the league leader boards also help.

good question i ask me the same quite a while, because my merchandise income drop around 40k in a time where i got more german players, pay more salary and just loose a nationalplayer :(

TThis week i got a boost aroun 8k, while i played a pure local game.

PS: The degression comes slowly in my case

Mine is relative stable. From $ 95 884 to $ 113 648. In last 8 weeks the lowest was 103k. I have 2 local NT players that they play regularly. Also i am not trading players very often. 1-2 max players per season. Maybe thats the reason that its so stable.

I actually have 5 Aussies in my squad... but I will be trying to retain some Aussie talent hopefully from next seasons draft.

All those points you mentioned are valid reasons... but I don't get why merchandise revenue keeps dropping even though I haven't changed my roster at all. With no changes to the roster it should remain relatively steady.

More stars and winning more games is a given that it will affect merchandising, but what is classified as a star? Someone with high salary? If so in what salary range?

Do you have players that on the statistical leaders? Players who have great numbers, selling lots of jerseys

If thats the case then I should never play Low Post or Patient, cos faster pace games gives more stats. So people who prefer to play slower paced games are disadvantaged.

Stats are not only the scoring, its the rebounding, passing too.

haha yeah it makes more sense economically to win games then worry about stats.

my goal is to win as much games as possible from now on =P
