Hey, im looking to start season 11 with a scrimmage win,

1) How should I play a base offense and Man to Man defense?

2) The oppositions best player is going to start at shooting guard, I put my best player at shooting guard aswell all though I want him to control the flow of my teams game, if I choose for him to play as a point guard, will he still be covering my opponents best player since he is the same position?

3) How can I get an M.V.P to live up to his potential?

4) Should my best rebounder play center?

Thanks, please awnser if you have time!

A lot of these questions you should try and figure out for yourself. Read through the manual and the help forum. When choosing what tactics to play u need to analyse both your team and your opponents teams then use a suitable tactic. For example if u have better small guys an outside tactic like Run and Gun or Motion could be good. Scrimmages only count for training minutes so it doesn't matter if u win or lose. They are a good opportunity to try out different tactics. The potential shown doesn't indicate how good a player currently is it just shows how high u can train his skills before training starts to slow. Your best rebounder could play centre depends on his other skills though

With recent changes u can choose your players to play different positions on offense and defense. So in your case You could choose your best player as PG on offense and SG on defense to cover his player.

1) Considering how new your team is, I would play Base offense and Man to man a couple of games at least. This would let you get a feel for what your team does well and what it's doing poorly.

2) If I'm reading this right, your best player is your PG, but you want him to defend the opponents SG. Easily done, choose him to play at PG. Just above the send orders button you can set your PG to play defense as SG. Remember to change the SG to play defense as PG.

3) M.V.P. is the limit to which the player can be trained. Relatively few if any players have actually hit their cap with MVP potential, but lower potential players quite often will. Basically when a player gets trained to his potential limit, he'll start training very slowly. Read the Game Manual entry for potential http://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/rules.aspx?nav=Nome... for more information on that.

4) Typically yes, but C and PF have similar needs and you'll want a strong rebounder at PF as well.

Best of luck!
