Has anyone tried to train Passing for the whole team? I was considering alternatives to the normal Stamina/Game Shape/ FT option for All-Star Break and thought about team Passing. I am afraid that if the traning is spread out to the whole team that only a few players would pop even if my top 10 players all got 48 minutes. If anyone has some insight or has tried this before please let me know how it went or your opinion of it? Thanks

Last season I trained team passing 4 weeks in a row. After 4 weeks I had 6 players pop in passing, 1 in handling and 1 in driving out of the 11 or so I was training. Nobody popped more then once in any skill. Nobody was older then 24 and most were 20-22 y.o.

If you are looking for quick pops with team training that is not FT or Stamina it would be better to train team one on one. I have good data that matches what is posted about 4 weeks per driving pop on guys not near potential max up through age 24....

Thanks for the information. That is exactly what I was looking for. Do you mind messaging me or posting on here your findings about Team One on One training? Thanks again and good luck.

It is the same as what is posted here (78242.1) Once players get to the potential max it slows down drastically, just like all other training. I haven't trained it for an entire season yet, so I haven't had anyone pop more then once in jump shot or inside shot, so I can't comment on that data. Specifically though, with guards, 4 weeks driving and about 4.5-5 for handling up through age 24 looks correct. My 23 yo guard played pg,sg and sf in this last round and still popped driving in 4 and handling in 4. I haven't had any inside shot pops yet, but the guys I play at center, pf, sf consistently are closer to their potential cap and are taking over 7 weeks to pop in driving or handling.....

That training speed thread is almost always up to date. I haven't spent enough time with team rebounding, js or jr to comment on that time. Another player messaged me about team jr and he found it was taking a lot longer then expected, something like 8 weeks or so per pop on younger-ish guards. It was enough for him to stop training team JR.... for whatever that is worth.

Thanks for the advice and the thread link. I will let you know if I consider doing either. My best young players are all Pfs and Cs so I may continue my focus on training there inside abilities. Thanks again for the help.
