Ok I read that the team with the better regular season record gets the homecourt advantage. But what are the tie-breaker rules for teams with the same records.

Pretty sure it goes to points differential so in your case Bird Lovers would get home court advantage in the championship series if u both make it. Well if there is a 3rd game he would get it on his court anyway. First 2 would be split i gather.

ties are broken by point differential (Points For minus Points Against) and then by Points For

If both of those are the same, then the next tie-breaker is the team with the higher point amount vs. the other team.

Yeah I thought I remember reading that it was the differential but wasn't sure.

But the championship game is a best of 3 series, thats in the rules. First game and third game (if necessary) go to the winner of the Homecourt Advantage.
