EDIT: Oops, found this elsewhere; apparently it's an IE issue dating back to last season, still not fixed. I hate having to DL a new browser just to make a game work properly.

This is infuriating.

After my first season, I remember seeing the draft in a notice that was hard to miss. I edited my draft order just fine; I got 3 great young players out of it.

After my second season, I saw no notice about the draft. I won my playoffs, and only then noticed where I could handle my draft order. I attempted to use it, but it wouldn't work. I could select a player and move him, but not leave him where I wanted him. Nothing worked; I assumed I was too late and had missed the window.

Now, the same problem has occured. I found the Edit Draft Order page through Rules; only very recently has the Edit Draft Order link appeared on my sidebar. Playoffs have yet to begin, but I can't do anything to edit my draft order. It's just like last time; I can move one player but not put him down.

Last season I spent 10k/wk on scouting all season and ended up with 3 terrible players I sold for 2k. I cannot suffer another financial disaster like that (not to mention failing to improve my squad or add any young players for 2 seasons running).

What can I do? Is the thing broken? Am I too late? Too soon? Is it IE? Why did it work my first time out but never again? Why isn't there a less slick-looking but more stable alternative means of setting draft order? Can I get my scouting money back?

What do I do?

You can edit your draft order up until the day after the playoffs end.

Please re-post in the Bugs forum if you still have issues.
