How important is game shape? Does anyone know a way to quantify it, like one jump in game shape is equal to about a ____ increase in salary or typically means they will be rated ___ higher in their game rating than usual?
And this kind of feeds off of the previous question, but what is your advice on training for game shape? Is it worth training for that if you have a big game the next week or before the playoffs or is your time better spent sticking to the usual training?

it isn't worth unless you have very deciding games ;)
A GS boost from 6 to a high 8 or 9 could make around 30% higher rating, so don't waste around it it is easy to etablish a high GS when you look a bit for the minutes.
