Some very good players missed out on the initial 10 man squad simply because this team may well be even better than the one that won the Asian Championship in season 33. I've never seen a player with more TSP than Gingut has right now in my time playing BB, and the rest of the squad is very strong too.

To answer Ezlife's demand to see Simon Thomas make the NT, he just missed out but is an incredible player for his age and I will be keeping a close eye on him to see when the ideal time is this season to add him to the team for his debut.

We play New Zealand first on Monday. They have some good players but not all of them are in good GS so this shouldn't be too much trouble. In fact this entire first stage is essentially a pre-season from our perspective, as there is zero chance that we even come close to dropping out of the top four, and everything gets reset in the second group stage anyway.

So apparently the greater community hates me.

Can I at least get an explanation as to why? My current term is only one week old and we just secured a blow-out win over New Zealand (they were good in the 1st quarter but quickly fell away after that). Right now it looks like you're all disapproving of me without giving me a fair chance to do the job, and if you were that firmly against me, why didn't anyone else aside from a random third division manager show genuine interest in the job?

I genuinely believe Thomas should join the NT, would it be just to get the garbage minutes and acquire a bit of experience. The squad is getting old and will have to be replaced by new leaders in the near future. You've 18 spots on your roster, you should also reward those who train their guys and take care of their game shape.

That being said, I have no doubt you're a great manager and you've done everything right since you joined the game. One can only admire you! If that makes you feel better, I'll change my vote despite disagreeing with the NT's politics :P

I just realised my player played last night. I hadn't voted but so gave you the thumbs up and you are at 50%

Keep up the good work

Did you really disapprove because he did not put your guy in already?
There are 18 spots but need to be kept in case of injury and game shape issues. If 18 are added at the start and then the SF all go into very poor game shape you can't add a replacement.

There are lots of guys with solid builds outside the NT. And a lot can change during a season. The best young guy today might not be come later in the season.

More people have voted to approve or disapprove the NT manager then bothered to place a vote in the first place.

Yup I did, my guy's that good!

Though I voted for him in the first place, so I'm sure he will live with my "disapproving" vote.

Its hard for any comparisons or judgements to be made on players, since no players skills have been shown at all. I think that is somewhere both NTs (u21 and NT) can improve. Id love to see some.

sorry but 16 ID and is not enough for NT as a C or PF. Would be ok at SF is he had 17+ OD.
He is not at Nt level as of yet. Likely to be before long but there are 20 bigs with 16ID and many have better other skills.

I feel that it's my obligation to ensure that the final 18 man squad consists of the top 18 players in the country based on raw skills and the managers ability to keep game shape up. Simon Thomas will probably still sneak in as the 18th man as the season goes on, but right now I'm not ready to include him, as out of the first four bigs I added, three have 125+ TSP and the fourth has 21 IS (yes, 21).

Just added my approval, Jay.
