Huge win tonight lead by Anderson over a side ranked 7 spots higher than ours. In the end our defence work on their offence plan worked a treat and our superior stamina and gameshape saw our boys run away with it in the end to win 97 to 61. The final period saw a 41 to 7 blowout.

Leading players include:
Anderson 22 points and 19 rebounds
Schneider 14 points 16 rebounds
Brath 11 points and 11 assists

Special mention on Powers on his NT debut with a late call up getting 6 points and 6 rebounds. The former 21NT star is looking to be part of our next generation of bigs.

The side now faces all teams ranked lower than ours for the first stage of the comp.

If our players continue to develop and be in good gameshape this should see a very successful season ahead.

A couple of injuries has forced a reshuffle to the side to play tonight.
Tune in to see our team take on Malta.

The NT keeps its winning ways with a huge win tonight. The amazing thing from the game is the final period saw our backups win 30 to 0 for the period. Has there ever being a more dominate display in a period at NT level for Australia?

Sorry for my lack of posting. Taken a new job in a new City and been flat out.
But tonight we achieved my season goal and are hosting next seasons Asian Championships. We have made the final 4 of the concol tourny and the only other Asian side Hong Kong lost tonight.

Thanks to the managers of players as we had 9 of the 14 players in prof gameshape and all but 1 of the rest in strong.

Lets see how far we can go.

Just looking over previous results in the Consolation Tournament and it appears we have never won a knock out phase game before and this season we have got 3 wins and could make it more still.

Great to see us in uncharted territory. We have some depth.

Loving watching Scoggins in beast mode, scoring 23pts in both of the last 2 games with high FG% of 11-15 and 9-12. Good decision keeping him in the NT at age 33, he is repaying the faith! And what a time to do it on the 2 most important games of our campaign to date.

Great result. Well done.

There is a strong possibility that our team's highest scorer, assist maker and rebounder from the game will hit the market Thursday night.
