From last 12 seasons I am following this thread, it was always fun reading game updates by previous managers. I am not here to offend anyone.

Thanks for your concern. I have had a lot going on privately and have been in contact with those I needed to.
A lot of discussion does go on in other places but I do intend on posting a bit more.

With my borthers wedding, exams and being sick I have not given enough information about how the team is going. Come Tueday uni is over for a month so will be giving a full update.

Also wanted to mention earlier tonight I saw one of our fringe NT players for sale. I by mistake hit the recurit button. Had he not been for sale I would of been adding him but the sale was going to mean his gameshape would drop. Once he is in I do not want to cut people. Cutting would effect our enthus.

I then purchased the player. If people have a issue with this I will be happy to list him for sale again as soon to avoid any percieved bias. If you have any feelings one way or the other on this feel free to post here or pm me.

Thanks

Mickyster

Simple solution, only play him when he's in good gameshape and in our best 12. That way you shouldn't get any additional merchandise bonus.

Australian National Team Season 31
With former 21 NT Manager Mickyster taking over the team for season 31 the focus for the start of the season was working with the players in hitting the ground in the current Asian Championships playing a new way. As such till this point all the players have had no contact with the media with even the management being rather inactive in regards to publicity while focussing on results of the court.
But with the first round of the championship almost over the team held its first official function to announce the team and give an update on the MVP voting for the current season. Here are the current national team players currently making up the team for stage one of the championship.

Co Captains

Brent Degas – PG
One of main stays of the national team for seasons Brent will lead the side again in what might be his final season in Australian colours.
National Team Games: 64 competitive and 13 scrimmages.

Burl Barth – PG
Not only is Burl looking to take over PG duties but also the leadership from the team. Equally at home at 1 or 2 Burl’s skills and leadership will play a vital role in the team’s success as the new era starts for the team.
National Team Games: 35 competitive and 14 scrimmages.

Other National Team Member

Claus Querido – C
Big man “Santa” has shown to be a useful role player for the team.
National Team Games: 20 competitive and 8 scrimmages.

Dylan Scoggins – C
Dylan is one of the key players inside the paint for the team and looks to continue his form for the Rimmers going for his nation once he returns from his recent injury.
National Team Games: 63 competitive and 19 scrimmages.

Gordie Waldron – SG
One of the new young players making their way into the side. Gordie is developing to a three threat that will be useful in providing spacing for the side.
National Team Games: 5 competitive and 3 scrimmages.

Keith Anderson – C/F
Keith developed his skills in the lower leagues and has broken out to be a dominate player on the international scene.
National Team Games: 51 competitive and 14 scrimmages.

Leigh Rieffel – G/F

Leigh is another coming to the end of this time with the National Team. Able to cover the 1 to 3 spots Rieffel provides flexibility to the team.
National Team Games: 55 competitive and 10 scrimmages.

Michael Wayne – F/C
The Wayne train come through the 21 NT while Mickyster was in charge there and is reunited with the manager with the national team. Wayne’s development has often be a hot topic of discussion between Mickyster and his club manager and former NT Manager mllama. Either way his service to the team will help over the coming seasons.
National Team Games: 8 competitive and 5 scrimmages.

Poluta’u Brar – G
The Polar Bear missed selection while Mickyster ran the 21 NT early before forcing his way and is still spending him time trying to prove the doubters wrong. Since then he has been a vital role in the Rimmers winning the ABBL and now there is no choice about him being a vital part of the real NT long term.
National Team Games: 8 competitive and 5 scrimmages.

Rhys Melmeth – F/C

Methhead is yet any other player to come through the 21 NT with Mickyster and now is developing into a key corner stone of the next generation. Some fitness issues have reduced his involvement but he is working hard to address that moving forward.
National Team Games: 4 competitive and 3 scrimmages.

Ryan McMillan – G
Ryan Mac joins the list of former members of Mickyster’s 21 NT. The versatile G along with Rimmers team mates Scoggis and Brar is the best core of Australian Club BB seen in some time and hope to be able to force the co-captains out of the starting 5 to take that combo the World Cup next season.
National Team Games: 28 competitive and 11 scrimmages.

Scott Schneider - C/F
One of the main stays of the side over the last few seasons Schneider continues to offer the side depth within the paint.
National Team Games: 69 competitive and 19 scrimmages.

Sushaant Pradip – F/C
After getting call from Mickyster to join the team he was confused and assumed he meant the National Team. It was meant to be Mickyster’s club team but the manager did not have the heart to tell him so now finds himself on both sides and needs to do some work to prove his worth to dress for the team this season.
National Team Games: 21 competitive and 7 scrimmages.

Will Williams – F
We Willie has been a thorn in Mickyser’s side for some time. During his time in the 21 NT he often led other players including Wayne. Will has experience with the NT, ABBL and Battlers Championships and time playing in the B3 and has been able to contribute to success at all levels.
National Team Games: 15 competitive and 9 scrimmages.

The Australian National Team moves into stage 2 of Asian Championships.

Tonight saw the final game of stage one of the Asian Championship. Sadly it saw the team drop its first game for the season with a narrow loses to Taiwan 112 to 100. With top scorer Scott Schneider (22589770) fouling out after 28 minutes the side was not able to keep the pace up. This leave the team in 2nd place in group A and for stage and sees the team heading into the 2nd stage being grouped with China, Philippines, Malaysia, Japan and Kazakhstan.

The team will be looking to finish top 2 in this group to make the semi finals.
Player of the year update. For stage 1 on the season the following points have been awarded to players based on a 3,2 and 1 per game. This will be updated after each game going forward.

12 -Barth
8 -Anderson
6 -Waldron
4 -McMillam
3 -Schneider
2 -Brar
1 -Wayne

Down by 4 at the half vs the worlds top ranked side. Anderson and Melmeth leading the way. If Anderson can hit some more shots we are in this game.
