Quebec Pugs - No More

The Quebec Pugs have officially sold to Player-Assistant Coach Kurt Winkler. He has been collecting his paychecks for the last 20 seasons to finally buy the team. The Quebec Pugs had only won one Naismith Championship and played in 2 finals. Now, Winkler believes he and his toupee can change the team's trajectory.

Winkler, 48 Years Old, "It's truly an honour. I have been dreaming of a bagel-shaped arena for my entire life, and it's finally here."

He has decided to open the Arena up and market it as the Bakery of Basketball. In this arena, you can eat classic bagels, bagel pretzels, and bagel flavoured licorice.

The team has been renamed "Montreal Biting Bagels", and has been moved to the grand city of Montreal. Tony Buffington, born in the big city, has decided not to speak, as his bodyguards believe it may be an assassination attempt on the player's life. Martin "Mensch" Melgunov, the first Israeli player to ever play for the team, approves of the name change. He believes it will help endorse Jewish culture across the city.

We will see how this team acquisition will affect team morale in the future.
