Thank you for the voters who bought me back for another 2 seasons of u21 action. Im really excited about this season. We have some great trainers attached to players that are showing we are developing as a nation. The knowledge of our trainers is growing with the games of the game.

Initial team selection has happened, with 14 great players offering us some skills to give versatility. We have 4 spots remaining for this season, which i wont hesitate to fill if they offer our side something. Please keep me updated and use our offsite as an indicator as to how close your player compares to our current squad.

Anybody with questions or issues, please bbmail me, if you have opinions on how our team is doing, id love to make our teams journey as positive and inclusive as possible. Season after season I see negative approval ratings pop up, but no discussion from the managers that have this dissatisfaction- I cant improve it unless you get involved and discuss your areas of concern. We do have input from some great managers from time to time, but it seems to be spasmotic with the managers who have players in the side, which is understandable. IF we are to really advance though, we are going to need more ideas than just my own.

Have a great season everybody and lets make this season a big one!

Tonight we play our first match of the season at 7.30pm WA time. We have a great looking side and I'm looking forward to seeing how they perform. The NT also have a big game tonight. It's s great time to be involved in our NT sides.

Go Aussies

We pulled out a good win tonight taking China down 71-67
(58444)
Some nice plays in the 4th after a disgraceful 1st quarter.

MVPs
3- Veitayaki
2- Thompson
1- Seager

All big guys that came to the party. The guards had an off night. Lucky Isakka hit one when it hurt them with 19secs to go.

New pools will be out and we will hopefully get a favoured draw after going 6-0 in the first pool

Defeated NZ tonight 84-71
Closer than id maybe anticipated but that is a credit to their training program! Losing the rebound count was a surprise, but our 3pt % was bak up to a nice 35%, and back up to 70% FG after our lazy 21% FT% last week.

MVPs-
3- Isakka 18pts, 7-13FG%, 4-6 3pters
2- Mourish- 17pts, 4 boards, 3 assists
1- Gaze- 12pts, 7 assists, 4 boards

Next up is South Korea

It got a little ugly in the end, depending on your perspective, didn't it. Nice work! It's a decent squad you've got going there.
