The pipeline has slowed to a trickle in recent seasons so right now the program is in the midst of long term rebuilding. But thanks to the efforts of managers like A Warrior and crazy Bob we can get back to where we want to be.
In terms of what we have on hand there is a lots to potentially build on.
Mswati Makhanya: far and away highest TSP. Nice build on the secondaries and is a solid defender. Needs work on shooting but a solid overall guy nevertheless
Umi Mugabe: solid inside build, gives us muscle down on the blocks and is a solid scoring option
Asanda Hadebe: a recent find thanks to warrior. And another guy with lots of potential down low.
Elphus Siamusiye: another young find, and a guy with loads of upside who could develop into a well rounded talent
Momar Phatudi: his secondaries are coming along. Will be interesting to see where his primaries wind up and on if he will be a inside style player or one with balance offensively.
Abe Fritsma: has a decent smattering of skills but could we'll see his role diminish as others surpass him on the food chain.
Thoibo Lonco: secondaries are getting there but needs lots of work but there is still time for him
Julius Young: good defender but has overall lots of holes that need filling elsewhere and time is running out.
Derek Dingane: limited potential but a really strong starting TDP means this guy could be a real find IF the effort is made into developing him
Stephen Jameson Ketumile Tshuma: I have door stops that are more useful.
Cavann Bopela: the handle and drive are sufficient. Needs work and attention, question is how much will he get, that will determine his value to this program
Shafilshuna Machemko
Gonasilan Sono
Dean Armitage
These last three guys are ones with either builds or potential which warrant a appointment to the squad.
10of the 15 are 20or younger and of those 21 a couple of those are ceremonial at best. So for those from the younger guard you are really on the ground floor. Let's see how quickly we collectively can lift the program up
