who will win the inter-conference battles?

those three losses really hurt...same thing happened to me in my USA team a few seasons ago, I would have immediately promoted back to D2, but have been stuck in D3 ever since

You have the 4th best record for bot promotion, not the 5th: Gothamitas is ranked 1st of the second placed teams (9th overall) despite having a better record than you (and significantly more salary also). So you need 2 of 3 to win. The guys in D2.2 and D2.4 seem like they have a good chance because their leagues are easier. I'm ranked 3rd overall and I'm pretty confident about my team, but I have to go through 2 teams with 100k more salary than me at 570k+ and 580k+ and if they guess GDP correctly they may beat me especially in the conference final.

Edit: won the conference final, but had 2 injuries in the game which means I may have problems with GS after Thursday and I have to play the 582k salary / 13 million DMI team in the final. We'll see. Since you and Red Vintage are ranked 4th and 5th among conference winners, as you're both in the finals, you will both promote if 2 out of of the top 3 teams win. I'm at risk but no. 1 and no. 2 seem likely to win.

Bot promotion doesn't work just by record. The guys who are 2nd in their conference come after all the guys who finished 1st, so Gothamitas was ranked 9th of all D2 teams (he was first after all the conference winners). It was only in the beginning of Utopia when they had to fill higher leagues that conference standing didn't matter, but at some point they reverted to normal bot promotion.

In Utopia there are 2 bot promotions to Heaven. So theoretically the conference winners with the best 6 records can bot promote. I have the 3rd, you have the 4th, Red Vintage 5th and Elmacca 6th. Because you have 2 bot promotions even if I lose and take one, you or Red Vintage will take the other. That's assuming the top 2 teams win.
