Hello South Africa,
During last couple of days, I have been talking with Presicalitjar, and we decided to join both possible staffs in one to make it sronger.
I know that Presicalitjar wanted to be the coach of South Africa, and this is why I would like to thank him, really, because he finally decided to withdraw his candidature, and join us.
If we want to make things correctly, there is a lot of job to be done. We consider that six eyes (maybe eight or ten) see more than two. At this point:
1) zackcollins might be the scout for point and shooting guards (if we are elected, obviously). He should contact managers, propose plans to optimize the players for the NT, explain how ellastic effect works, ask them to train 48', playing 48'-72' for better shapes, gym, psicologist, all these things you know.
2) If we are elected, Presicalitjar would work with inside players, power forwards and centers.
3) In this way, I will be able to focus on small forwards, and analyzing other teams.
Still, we are open to receive other staff members. Because, we are not thinking only to look for a semifinal, a final or a victory in the AfroBasket. We are also looking for the future of South Africa, and this means developing better players in 6-8 seasons. We need to work all together, the staff of the NT, and managers with south african players, this is the only way.
Senegal is already doing it, in my opinion, we should study the future of South Africa in a longer time. This is how one obtains success in BB.
What do you think? Do you have any questions / suggestions / recommendations? Please, don't be shy, this is a debate thread :)
