Easy mistake to make and I’m surprised I haven’t made it. But As long as Dark Matter isn’t one of your next two games…go for it! What’s a measly $400k hit on the bank account matter anyway! Ha-ha!

I got lucky and was outbid. The sad part is that his stats weren't even that good.

GG Hornets. Maybe next time you'll have confidence in your team and play me straight up.

I am not sure what this means, I played normal, and ran my team in a zone cause it has struggled in man to man. I wasn’t sure that I was suppose to play a certain way in this league. Just inform me how you would like me to play next time.

Most teams (especially at home) play TIE to save enthusiasm for the playoffs/relegation. Home court advantage is usually worth around 12 points and playing at a higher attitude is worth another 12. Usually teams at level III or higher understand this, but this league, so far, is a bit different. Three of the five teams I've played so far have chosen to play on normal. If you look at my stats you'll see an unusually high number of fouls being committed. This is the sim making up the difference in points through fouls because of the TIE vs Normal. It's why you shot 19 more foul shots than I did tonight.

It's your team and you can obviously play however you want, but it will cost you come playoff time.

But that wasn’t the original statement, the original statement was a dig at confidence. If any team wants to agree to take it easy they can send me a message, most leagues I have been in nobody plays straight up, guards at center, and all kind of take it easy all the way to CT. I just go normal and go easy for cup and scrimmages. If the league agrees everyone will take it easy I have no problem with that.

You do you man. I'm just trying to figure out why teams in this league play anything other than tie.

I've been known to be cranky after a loss on occasion. I wrongly assumed that the managers in the league were experienced and knew what you posted above. That's on me. Playing on normal for regular season games gains you absolutely nothing except for a couple of wins.

Oh, wow, I've been playing this game all wrong. Who knew that extra merchandise and attendance revenue, better relegation series matchups, and making and winning in the playoffs was nothing. :shocked_pikachu:

It's a little early to worry about enthusiasm for playoffs. Any CT/Normal/or TIE before the all star break will be completely irrelevant to enthusiasm levels in the playoffs. To me, using enthusiasm comes down to trying to maximize your wins.
