The problem isn't in the strategies, it's in the non-linear nature of training.


Please, someone tell me the negative of having a linear training system where 5 minutes equals 10%, 10 minutes 20%, etc, etc. (numbers are roughly of course). This is the only change that has to be made.

I agree with stogey on that.

Players should not be punished more for having a bit less than 48 minutes.

I think it should be linear like stogey said or even better with that curve that domenico proposed, given 40+ minutes players an almost optimal training and 20- players a very poor training.

I'm with Raonne on leaving the engine alone, please no more tweaks/changes! If you really want to ensure players get minutes you can, but you have to do more SFDC which might affect your chances to win. I think managing minutes is something that will be an ongoing challenge that over time you can become more skilled at. Being able to read opponents, set depth charts, take risk of loss for training are all things that you should have to work at.

I also would prefer to have a linear or curved training as proposed in this thread, since a it would be harsh for a few minutes to make or break a players ability to train.
