Therefore, you see 3 weeks the day of the injury, a week later it will still say 3 weeks, and again, a week later it will still say 3 weeks. It's just something that does not update.

This is definitely incorrect.

Really? I've never noticed it updating before ... but I do concede that I could be wrong because my last injured player was Season 5. It's been a long time since I've had an injury so I definatly could be incorrect.

Its a minimal effect have a look at the manual under staff. If u had a better doctor before an injury the duration would have been less but once the duration is set u have to wait it out.

To add to the confusion I can contribute my latest example:

24 years, injury 2 weeks.

Down to 1 week after 6 days and doctor level 4.

My player finally went to 2 weeks. Now I am waiting to see when he will go to 1.
