Thanks, it was a bit of a long shot but worth a go, I was surprised how well the team faired... Innes is a touch of class and I'm having a hard time deciding if I should sell him or not.

Yeah well, because of that sale Morwood convinced himself that the other Mac would go for 3.0-3.5 millions. Now the bids are already above 5 millions and it will cost me 150k-200k to keep him, but I can't let him go if I have no guarantee he'll be trained to cap.

Seems I didn't celebrate my first win here, and over the defending champion too. I think the Tide beating LIDL followed by me beating Tide was like a good series of showing off why BB is good tactically...Innes exposes LIDL's trainees, then I exploit the PF playing at SF with a guard - and somehow kept him fairly quiet offensively. Bit of a lucky win really admittedly. Glad I got one...not sure when the next will be.

Am I gonna try to be the best promoted team or not? Maybe we find out the first part of this question on Sat.

Anyway, I was posting today to just have my own celebration at training my first 100 tsp player :) Own draftee too.
Not sure what I drafted him at but 65 tsp at the start of his age 20 year, only put on 5 tsp that year (that's bad)...made up a bit by 11 in his age 21 year.

Good win mate... I'm honestly amazed I'm not 0-4. Although earning 500k per week is nice ;)

Likely those skills that popped last year had been boosted to a high sub level in the previous year, making the actual training gains much more similar than they appear to be.

Also, well done. I think your first 100 tsp player has come faster than mine did. Not sure but I think I might be waiting for my second still.

Wow, no idea how I lost that game. (not saying I'm much better than t20, if I am at all, but just based on the game pattern...not sure I've had one like that) I guess I'm not quite embracing tanking yet...

3rd win for T20 already. Good going! I had Niven shortlisted but didn't note down his skills. I must've liked him somewhat though...For any of us promoted teams to stay up the most likely situation is we have to beat a decent team on the other side though. Will be tough.

4th cup bot in a row :D Do hope I get at least a couple of fun/interesting kind of competitive ties at some point before the inevitable loss to one of the big boys though.

(I don't like this message much, but I do like people posting on the forums, and my own posts are better than none at all so it'll have to do)

It's definitely tough for new teams, the leap is big.

Heh. You're aware you revenged already by injuring Kasperczyk later in the cup game? There was at least one more flagrant in that game too, and at least two today and I didn't watch the first 30 mins of the game :D Maybe it has already become some kind of grudge match.

Suppose you got your revenge in the other way too though :)

I'm fairly encouraged by my past few games, but I may become a decentish team too late to survive this season (even if Kapsukas is quitting). Still in the cup though...Maybe the randomness will be kind.

Damn good lineup for the Big 8 in the all star game.

Surprised when I looked at the votes to see two of my players getting votes at what I thought were the wrong positions, until I counted their games and realised I'd played them more often out of position than in position. (Actually played them where they're listed to play, I just see them differently.)

Also 6 of my players received votes, including a backup big. Not sure that's happened to me before.
