This will be my 3rd season, too. I joined in season 13 with 3 games left in the regular season. Although the team had a decent record, all the player got reset so I had to start over right before the playoff.

Season 16 should be a fun season. Sapporo has greatly improved his starting 5 toward the end of last season. Ramen and Shogun are catching up big time. Best of luck to everybody, at the eve of a new season!

Yes you are wise. I am very cautious and traditional. I keep my players and change them very little. I had my two imports for all of last season. Now I have two more for this season. For example my draft pick YY I have been really considering training him because he was my draft pick. If he wasn't my draft pick I would never train someone with atrocious OD. I have come to my senses and will sell him now even for $1, someone else can suffer the pain.

It is an exciting new season and I want more wins than last season's 14 wins but it may be difficult as several teams are better this season and we sold one of our three trainees as we could not abide his 6'9" slow training.

We thank you. But we have already listed him at $1 so he is no longer our draft pick. I hope someone does train him, but we shall not. Instead we have bought another Kuzu High School trainee an 18 year old perennial allstar with average OD. In the same time we can get him to prominent OD and he can contribue to the team. No-one is perfect as he has awful passing but I think trading atrocious OD for awful passing is a good trade.

Here, he is no secret :)

I wasn't too impressed with my draft picks either and picked up a trainee recently. I made an effort to look for a Nippon player. He is pretty similar to Masamitsu.

Yoshito Sada (19825155)
Weekly salary: $ 5 275

DMI: 13900
Age: 19
Height: 6'3" / 190 cm
Potential: superstar

Jump Shot: respectable Jump Range: average
Outside Def.: average Handling: inept
Driving: respectable Passing: average
Inside Shot: awful Inside Def.: awful
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: average
Stamina: average ↓ Free Throw: inept

Not sure how I will fit him in my rotation yet but he is not far away from being a solid backup for me.

That player must have great starting skills.

A good win today over kusoz. That trainee - Eiti Toshishai - got 18 points, 22 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals and two blocks.

Good work Malice. Your trainee is turning out to be a beast.

Ha!
He was playing against fairly low level opposition. Still, hope he can develop. Pity he's only 'star' level, but I figure that'll do for me for now.

Yes, a star is sufficient for this league and maybe backup in JBBL. If the star is balanced initially and later on trained to be well rounded, he'll be a beast. I have a starter and personally I think he's pretty good. He's also joined the U21.
