staff levels neither increase or decline. each week the salary for the staff will increase incrementally. in the staff page next to each staff member is the salary of last week and the new salary for this week.

correct.

this is done so you will be forced to look for new staff once in a while,... or go bankrupt paying your old staffmember tons of dollars.

But I guess that when you go bankrupt, they indeed stop increasing the payment. ;þ
