I do have a thread on this in the NT forum but I wanted to share what is going on with the community at large. I had a epiphany a couple of weeks back, since so many nation's in the u21 competition have nothing to do after the first phase of worlds and the end of round robin in consolation why not organize a little tournament ?!? So I did, I painstakingly sent out invites and got quite a bit of positive response. In fact it was all positive, i did not hear from everyone invited to compete, but about 90% did and of those 100% who did reacted positively ! So now this is going to come to pass, I guess! I have broken the field down into three levels of competition, the big boys , larger micro and smaller micro. Rhatway we get what I feel will be three equally matched fields. Pairings in each field were determined by world rank with a minor exception in the big boy bracket where Canada and Misr somehow ended up for a scrimmage set for the first week of the competition. Which means Misr got a seat at the bug table, but piotek has farmed that program so well he can hang with anyone in that field. In retrospect both teams probably should have gotten byes in their respective fields, but by the time I came to that realization I had reached the point of no return as this has taken quite a bit of time and effort to put together.

So without further ado here is your field! All managers have been informed, as to how well this gets executed remains to be seen! FYI sites and home/away is up to those paired together! You've heard of eHarmony? Well this is bbHarmony lol

Great idea Lambini! Just one suggestion, can we establish a deadline for the other nation to accept the game proposal?

Things actually are pretty well set. I might be slipping in one more team or two but I think that we have a great field set up9

Ok I am officially closing the window. Some matchups have confirmed, others have not, and I even took my team (South Africa) off the bye line so Hanguk can participate. Y I hope this still can come together, but this is a lot to ask. IF you are not confirmed with your opponents for the first round which will be Monday I0-21 please do so asap. IF you took a invite but have second thoughts PLEASE let me know so I can maybe reshuffle the deck. This also applies to those who might have challenged the wrong team for this week.

Gentleman some of you can't help but put the proverbial fly in the ointment! Alas we are at the point of no return so things going off as best I can pull it off, but man is it going to look ragged!

The top post in this thread which has the matchups and seedings has been updated to reflect who has confirmed and who was not confirmed. If you would like to be in the tournament please let me know and then please start reaching out to the teams who have not had their matchups confirmed to see where you can be used as a substitute.

And at the end of the day the bracket we will be left with will not quite resemble the one we started with! But far as I am concerned we are going forward!
