As there is and never will be a good rookie of the year in this game, I would like to see some kind of "Young Player Award" for players under lets say 23. That way nicely trained 22 and 23 year olds would have a chance to win a trophy for their teams - just an MVP for a certain age group.
Newcomer Award: best new player that entered the league during (off)season. MVP for new guys in the league.
