I've lost 24 of 26 bids on players. Is there any way my team will improve? I just started last week, and I can't seem to sell any players either. Perhaps someone would be kind enough to message me on an insider secret or some form of reassurance. Thank you in advance.

Don't panic my friend and don't count your lost bids. Luck is the only thing that matters. Since you are new to the game, you have to be patient. Always someone who is older than you ( in the game of course ) will win you because older means more money.
Wait until you collect a respectable amount of money and then proceed with transfers.
Until then just train your own players and .... good luck.
No secrets as you can see, at least from me.

Like you kind sir. I figured as much, but I am used to the "franchise mode" on console sports games. The whole instant gratification factotum and all. Cheers.

You probably feel a bit better this morning, having played a TV game last night (earns significant extra revenue). Don't spend it all at once, of course, but you've got another one to come before the end of the season.

I've been playing BB for about three months. It's a steep learning curve, and it doesn't work the same as any other sports sim I've played, but hang in there and the development of your team will reward you in the end.

Also what I did this my first season is lower the ticket prices, which once the effect kicked in I went from 1000 fans at the games to a sell out crowd.
