First. Sold him after DQ twice during training and missing within the first half of the season. Ironically hasn't DQ'd since but is still fouling.

Big time fouler. Another guy I drafted. Got some decent coin from trading him away though despite the low potential.

This guy I actually bought for a super long term trainee. Been working on his initial sills. Only cost me 400k for MVP potential so I was very happy with getting him at a good time where the market was in favour of the buyer. DQ'd three times in his rookie year and DQ'd his last game in only 21 minutes of play. Comically, his back up also fouled out in only 20 minutes...which brings me to.

Yet another guy I've drafted. Gets into foul trouble nearly every game....I once watched a game and the dude was fouling guys on three pointers at the buzzer and everything. DQ'd in my last league game off the bench(for God's sake) and then gets not even 20 minutes of play against a terrible team in a Cup game due to foul trouble.

This is only recent too, my first ever franchise player averaged around 3.5 fouls per game and fouled out of every big game every until I had to sell him as a result.

I mean just check out that absolute gem of season 8 with 10 DQs(literally almost half of the season) including 3 straight DQs and 4.4 fouls per game....really awesome stuff...coincidentally, this was..on the forums the peak of my "The foul system in this game is absolutely horrid and I'm about to ragequit" tirades....after a wile I kind of not only got used to it, but starting to expect it....and with good reason. Now I just laugh every time I draft a decent guy and see 22 minutes(starting) 5 fouls or something in his first game. Or anytime I buy someone when the transfer market is hot with prospects.

Even his running mate Mr Baughman that I also picked up when I first started was good for 4-5 DQs per season.

Then after my first relegation from D.III my number one pick was a 3 per game fouler as well at the PF spot....good for about 4 fouls per game....so I also sold him. This was actually rather mild though, and rather liveable from what I've had to deal with recently.

Long story short, never change BB..never change.

I expect some response about how there's nothing to do and how I should just sell the players...yes I know...I've done it now for the last 3 seasons. It gets really...really old.

This made me chuckle, quite terrible luck! I have only drafted one really prolific fouler; (13410682) If you check Seasons 12 & 13 you'll see he averaged 5.3 fouls per game both seasons! I remember he had atrocious ID as a bigman but still, that's ridiculous!

I haven't any of the bad luck you are having with trainees, in fact my best trainee has 1 foul in 115 minutes this season (and 25 in a scrimmage). So I can't speak with experience with getting an agressive trainee. However you guys will get to the line more often and that can have an advantage (mine has taken 2 FT in the season without the cup).

Well the atrocious D is probably why. My guys are at least competent in defense. Hell, Motley was actually at prominent at the D4 level, which is slightly above average.

They just pick up asinine fouls all the time. I've seen times where my guy hasn't been challenged and stays out of foul trouble then picks up two off ball fouls in a row then goes to the bench.

I've had a C come in from foul trouble on a free throw dead ball, foul on the rebound and go back to the bench.

The problem I have with the horrid foul system is that the fouls aren't reactive at all...it's not because you are being challenged frequently to MAKE you get in foul trouble but, the game basically reads the aggression stat and literally tries to create fouls, no matter how nonsensical and inappropriate they are...and it happens to me...Every.Single.Time I get a new player.

And lastly, there is literally zero logic in terms of playing with fouls. They don't try to avoid them, no matter how important they are to the team nor how simple it would be to do so, so I have to see things like players picking up their third foul on a 3 point heave by a center as the shot clock expires. Garbage.

Did you see the Pitt- Butler game this year?

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

Its your fault anyway, you could have drafted someone else.

Not really. This game doesn't allow you to select your players. You put them on a giant list and see what happens.
