He's more of a PF right now. Will need a lot of OD training to start with, at least two seasons' worth. Then some JR and Passing. Or, you could train up his rebounding and IS to make him a terrific all round PF. Also that free throw shooting could hurt in crunch time.

If you don't mind me asking, 2 seasons worth of defense? I would think some well-rounded guard training would be better...

He does need a lot of OD training, but if you want to make him an inside-focused SF, I don't think he'll need 2 seasons. 1 perhaps.

I think passing has got second priority. It's very important for your Offensive Flow, espacially when you play inside (Look Inside) or outside (Run and Gun).

A bit more handling would be nice too. No more inside training is needed.

If you want to make him into an SF then you need his OD to be at least 14-15 given that he's got the potential. That should take you at least 18-20 weeks or 2 seasons. You could switch to training some passing and jr from time to time, but without high OD he'll be a liability on the defensive end. And defence far outweighs offence in BB. Once his defence is shored up you can train some of the other guard skills up to what you want.

You could also switch him over to play defence as a PF, but its unlikely your PF will have any better OD. If you have such a player or can find one on the TL, then you could get away with not training any OD. In the long term such a switch will be difficult to maintain though and could hurt your team's balance.

Hope that helps!
