My SG is only 6'3" but his stats correlate with those of a strong big man. Can I start him at PF or will his lack of height put him in trouble?

Height does only matter for training purposes. So while having him play PF probably won't hurt, training him as one would be tiresome.

Would you care to show us his skills?

so u wanna say that u can play a 6'3" player at PF??????what if the other team has a 7'3" PF with prolific or higher rebounding.dont u think that this 6'3" player will be killed in rebounding.
moreover if he faces a player with good ID and SB he is more prone to be blocked......
what do u have to say about that????????

Height only affects the training and nothing else. Even if there's 6'3" player playing as PF and 7'3" player defending as PF (or the other way round), the height doesn't matter at all. I know it's not really realistic but that's the way it works in BB.

Here's a quote from the Game Manual.

(/community/rules.aspx?nav=Nomenclature)
Rebounding: A good rebounder will retrieve the ball more often after a missed shot. Notice that height is already considered when a player's rebounding skill is displayed. A player who is 7'2" but has a low rebounding skill simply is very bad at positioning and will not get very many rebounds. He'll learn more quickly though...
