I usually train 1 position (C). So for this week I selected the 3 trainees. However, after 2 matches this week I have these stats:

Player 1 - 48 minutes on training position
Player 2 - 47 minutes on training position
Player 3 - 0 minutes on training position

Let's say in Game 3, Player 3 will manage to get 48 minutes, and the final weekly stats are these:

Player 1 - 48 minutes on training position (C)
Player 2 - 47 minutes on training position (C) + 15 minutes on position PF
Player 3 - 48 minutes on training position (C)

Let's say I have another pair of players (Player 4 and 5) that have 48+ minutes but on PF position.

Now I have a question regarding to above-mentioned scenario. What will give me more training effect with this stats?
A. One position training?
B. Two position training?

Should I stay with the one position training, or switch to C/PF cause Player 2 is 1 minute short?

Those in PF position are young but I use'em for substitute training: if one of the 3 listed players is injured OR reaches desirable level to be put on TL they are coming in the cycle; i.e they are not my priority.

You see, the big issue here is that Player 2 is my major target for training. And I want to get as much as possible training effect for him. So the real question is what is best for him in that scenario? 1 position training with 47 minutes or 2 position training with 48+.

If you have any "Rebounding" training planned... it's only available as two position training (or team) so now might be the time when you should go for 4/5 rebounding for a week.

I'm afraid, no rebound training planned for this season. The players are pretty high at RB. Only one is prolific, 2 are wondrous and 2 are marvelous. More, I stopped RB training in a week when 3 of those players got RB pop. So they are finished with RB training and now I'm in a process of final adjustment till the moment they are put on the TL (except for the Player 2 who is not for sale).

However, if there's anything you intend to 2 position train him at in the future for this player, you could always pick this week.

Yes I know that. And it's a very good point. But for the remainder of the season it's not in my intention.

As was pointed out, player number 2 will actually acquire more experience with 47 minutes at 1 position than 48 minutes two positions training.

This is the answer to my question.

P.S. I will put Player 2 in the squad for the next game as PF sub. So who knows. Maybe there will be OT and the starting C is fouled out in 52nd minute so he jumps in for the remaining minute and get's that +1. lol

I would accept the 47 mins and get the 3rd x 48mins first. Make the decision after as if the 3rd guy fails to get 48+ you have an easier decision to make. In your position if I didn't have to train RB I would suck up the loss and still train 1 position.
