Hi everyone,

my question is about how the time a player had spent in a team affects his performances.

I have been trading a lot to earn some money and the oldest player I have, enjoyed my team, 32 days ago.

I red that keepping players from your country and from your draft, improves your merchandise incomings.
Posssibly, there is something giving a malus / bonus, depending on how long your players are playing together?

Is that true? any suggestions?

thank you

Interesting point that occurred to me a while back, but there are no such "chemistry effects" in the game engine, so your players won't be affected by how long they've known their team-mates or how long they have played for the same team. The only thing that may capture something different from the main skills is experience, but players would have exactly the same performance regardless of the team they're playing for.

Selling a player who has been with you for a while may affect merchandise if he was an important player. The item "I'm familiar with the star players..." in the fan survey shows how fans feel towards your shuffling of the roster. Good luck ;)

maybe there should be an experience factor involved... take the spurs.. there core players have been together for like 8 years.. they work better together than teams who shuffle players in and out every season.. it is a major part of the game.. maybe the BB's can take this into account next season

Yeah, that would be an interesting thing, a "chemistry factor". Post in the suggestions forum ;)

Yeah, I see what you're saying, it's a factor that's too difficult to predict. And it would involve adding personalities to the players and that would be too complex. The Pistons had the same core for a number of years and it meant successive trips to the conf finals, but you may argue that they only got one championship out of that run
