I have a suggestions for the playoffs.

Why don't we do a inter-conference playoffs: (For Example)
Quarter Finals
1st seed Big 8 vs 4th seed Great 8 (QF1)
2nd seed Big 8 vs 3rd seed Great 8(QF2)
3rd seed Big 8 vs 2nd seed Great 8(QF3)
4th seed Big 8 vs 1st seed Great 8(QF4)

Semi Finals
Winner of QF1 vs Winner of QF3 (SF1)
Winner of QF4 vs Winner of QF2 (SF2)

Loser in the Semi Finals will have a one-game playoff for third place.

Finals
Winner of SF1 vs Winner of SF2 (Better Record Twice-To-Beat)
One-game playoffs during QF and SF

And also an inter conference wild-card playoffs for 5th to 8th seed
5th seed Big 8 vs 8th seed Great 8
6th seed Big 8 vs 7th seed Great 8
7th seed Big 8 vs 6th seed Great 8
8th seed Big 8 vs 5th seed Great 8
The losers in the wild card will be demoted
Higher seed twice-to-beat advantage only for wildcard and finals.

By doing this we might have some extra money to tide over the off season.

intresting suggesting. but where would be some problem. in example: in big 8 team which are in 4th position after regular game have 10 wins. but in Great 8 division this 4th team has 12 wins, 5th team has 11 team. so which team goes to playoff?
big 8 4th team with 10 wins or great 8 5th team with 11 wins?

I guess this won't be changed but I think that it is generally a good idea becuase unbalanced conferences don't balnce out over time in reality (so far).

Over time, these things do tend to balance out (as they have in the NBA historically as well)

The opposite seems to happen - could you make an example? Outside of I.1 leagues too, please.

I try to not understand it like that you made an unfair design on purpose.

Anyway, this is why we have the current league and conference structure. Over time, these things do tend to balance out (as they have in the NBA historically as well).

The difference with the NBA are promotion and relegation.
My league is one of those in which one conference is much stronger than the other one. To give an idea, the mixed games ended 51-13 for my conference and the team ranked 5th in my conference has a better record than the 1st in the other conference.

Last season there was 1 promotion and 1 relegation from my conference and 3 teams were relegated from the other conference.
Considering that the teams relegated from an upper league are, on average, better than the average team and that teams promoted from a lower league are, still on average, less competitive than the average team... you see that the gap between the two conferences is more likely to increase than decrease.

My suggestion is, when possible, to always assign 2 new promoted teams to each conference and assign the team relegated from the upper team accordingly.

Thumbs up. This would get the conferences more even in the long run.

Sometimes one conference has one relegated team and no promoted team.

that's why I wrote when possible :)
