I just had my game last night and noticed that the team ratings are grossly overrated compared to normal

Here is my game:

http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/15678900/boxscore.aspx

For example, based on my experience with this set of players and the tactic used, my perimeter defence should be close to medicre low. yet somehow this game it reported it to be average medium. The ratings for ID, IS and reb are also overrated by at least 2 sublevels

Just a bit curious, but is there an explaination for this?

Overtime always inflates the ratings.

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke
Charles: Penn has some good people
A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

Is there a reason for this??

Looking at the ratings, It seems unlikely that my opponent should have managed to take me to OT to begin with.

if the game is very close... and overtime is usualy that case... the coach playes your starters more.
the result is better rating

the rating is also depend the players that play and how many minutes

from my experience, blowout usualy result in lower rating due to bench players playing alot, and i guess it works vise versa as well

in my eyes it has nothing to do with the starters playing more because this will fit better to close game end in regular time(with OT i think the part of starters playing is less then this), i think it is part of the calculation of the rating maybe the system always add a bit on the value and have a wrong "basis" when it comes to overtime.

if the rating is recalculated after 1 Minute, maybe you add always current rating diveded by 48 to the amount before, at the end you get amostly based on the 48 minute average but the calculation didn't change when you play 53 minutes instead.
