Sorry to ask such a dumb question, but is there a way of forcing a player to play 48 minutes - that is, an entire game, without rest? Except for the obvious - not putting a substitute for him, which i think is dangerous, when the game engine seems fit it just put someone - like a center - on the spot, if the player happens to be fouled out or injured...

Nothing is guaranteed but :
1. Put him as Starter/Backup?Reserve
2. Use Strictly Follow Depth Chart
3. Use Let them Play
4. Make sure there is no one one the bench to replace them in a blowout. For example if u want your centre to play a whole game only have 4 players on the bench, your backup PG, SG, SF and PF. So u only play the game with 9 players
5. If the player is fouled out or injured you just have to cop it theres a risk in playing a guy 48 minutes u just have to be willing to accept it.

On the other hand: is it worth it? For example, if i play a guy fo 30 minutes and his rating is 11,5, what will happen if he stays for the whole game?

Well personally i only play a player a full game if:
a. he is a trainee and i need him to get his training minutes
b. its a scrimmage

My players are pretty even though, if u did have a star player who is a lot better then everyone else on your team u would probably give him 48 minutes in a must win game. So playing the full game their performance will drop off its just a matter of if even with reduced performance they will be better then the backup.
