Haven't still figured out how many are teams exactly promoted from the league at the end of the season and which ones of them.. last season both the winner of the playoffs and winner of regular season (22 wins 0 losses) were promoted from my league, it's IV division.
The problem is that I'm the one who is currently leading my conference on 15-1, the other conference's leader has 15-1 too. If I keep my first place, does it promote me automatically like happened to the team from the last season? I've only played the game for 1 season and I think I don't wanna get promoted yet, because I enjoy my easy league and the money that comes easily.. so tell me if I have to lose to not make it to my playoffs finals or I even have to lose all my final regular games in order to ensure not winning the league and stay in it?

only the winner of the PO is a sure that he is promoting.

Additional all bots get demoted, so that some teams with lot of looses also get promoted, to fill the free spaces from the bots.

The winner of the playoffs is automatically promoted.

In addition, any bot teams are automatically demoted and replaced with teams in the lower divisions on the basis of regular season record, regardless of group. So finishing first in your group will not ensure you get bot promoted, but if you finish 21-1 there is a pretty good chance you will get promoted.

Second, I don't understand why you wouldn't want to be promoted? It's a lot more fun playing against fewer bots and more players who have an idea of how the game works and there is WAY more money to be made in division three than in division four (i.e. 100%-200% more).

What's the point in playing the game if you're not trying to win? If you are just going to throw games at the end of the season, you may as well just throw every game at the beginning of the season straight to the end to get better draft picks.

sorry for being off topic here, but where/how is the extra money coming from in going from a lower to higher division? Is it simply larger merchandise sale and more people attending the game? Do you see 100% jump in merchandise sale?

If you win the playoffs you get a bonus for winning as well as each level has higher attendance, tv revenue, and merchandising, not 100% increase but an increase of perhaps 25-50%
